PIKE CUP MORAN POWIDZ is one of the most prestigious fishing competitions in Poland.
The first edition took place in 2015.

Every year, the competition is organized on a similar date, in the same place – one of the cleanest
lakes in Poland – Powidzkie Lake, while the competition base is Hotel Moran**** SPA.
This year’s edition with the motto „Lakes – they are nature” is intended primarily to raise awareness that lakes mean health, life, relaxation and energy.

Event goal:

integration of the fishing industry

initiating and supporting activities to promote fishing and physical culture

promotion of local tourism and Polish lakes

promoting fishing tourism

increasing ecological awareness among sports and recreational fishing enthusiasts

Achieving the goal by:

participation of professional event partners from Poland and abroad

support for the competition through social media and the trade press

active participation of media partners and people from the world of fishing in the organization of the event

organization of an integration banquet

Event location

The host of the Szczupak Cup Moran Powidz competition is Hotel Moran**** SPA,
located in the Greater Poland Voivodeship,
in the town of Ostrowo on Lake Powidzkie.

The Powidz Lake District region is characterized by clean lakes, beautiful forests and wild nature.

All event participants will be accommodated in the Moran**** SPA Hotel located 25 kilometers from the A2 motorway junction – Słupca.

During previous editions of Szczupak CUP Moran Powidz, over 60 partners presented their offers
from Poland and abroad, closely related to the fishing market.

Nearly 1,600 people – elite Polish anglers – participated in the competition and the ceremonial banquet
and representatives of the fishing world.

Interest from industry representatives, including: producers of fishing equipment, specialist clothing,
boat manufacturers, representatives of environmental protection services and the media turned out to be very large.

Last year’s coverage was watched on the Internet by nearly 300,000 people for two days. people.

The advertising equivalent amounted to over PLN 350,000.

It is a sport closely related to, among others, with sailing, kayaking and tourism.

Sielawa Moran Cup

As part of our fishing competition, the „Sielawa Moran Cup” cooking competition will be held for the third time in a row.

The main goal of the competition is to integrate and promote local rural organizations, as well as to show the taste of freshwater fish – the pride of Lake Powidzkie and the waters of the Gniezno Lake District.
