SZCZUPAK CUP MORAN POWIDZ is one of the most prestigious angling competitions in Poland. The first edition was in 2015.

Each year, the competition is held at a similar date, in the same place – by the one of the cleanest lakes in Poland – the Powidz Lake. The base of the competition is the Hotel Moran**** SPA. This year’s edition motto is “Lakes – the nature is them” is to make everybody aware that lakes are health, live, rest and energy.

Event Objective:

initiation and support of promoting angling and physical culture

promotion of local tourism and Polish lakes

promotion of angling tourism

improvement of environmental awareness among fans of sport and recreational angling

involvement of professional event partners, both Polish and foreign

Event Place:

The host of the Szczupak Cup Moran Powidz competition is the
Hotel Moran****SPA in Greater Poland,
in Ostrowo by the Powidz Lake.

The Powidz Lakeland is known for clean lakes, beautiful forests, and wildlife.

All the participants will stay at the Hotel Moran****SPA, 25 kilometres away from A2 motorway interchange – Słupca.

Attendance

During previous editions of Szczupak CUP Moran Powidz, over 60 partners strongly related to the angling sector, both local and foreign, presented their offer.

Almost 1,400 people – the Polish angling elite and representatives of angling world – were in the competition and at the formal banquet.

Representatives of the sector, including producers of angling equipment, specialised clothing, boat producers, as well as representatives of environmental protection services and media proved to be very interested.

The last year’s live on-line was followed by almost 300 thousand of people for 2 days. Moreover, the programme was broadcast live on Polsat News TV channel.

The Advertising Value Equivalency was over PLN 350 thousand.
